Is an albatross an acceptable pet?

Honestly I don't know very much about albatross but I'm pretty sure that they're not birds of prey and they aren't large birds that don't fly like ostriches so according to this source they should be legal to own. I don't know how Canadian states work, but depending on where you live there may be additional restrictions. For example, pets like ferrets, hedge hogs, and foxes are legal to have as pets in the United States, but they are illegal to own in the state of California.
