What can I add to Latex Paint to make it adhere better?

When I paint steel barrels I clean and wire brush them and wipe off any dust or dirt. The paint will NOT adhere well for more than 3-4 months. The paint will blister, peel and chip easily. I have to repaint every year. I need something to add for better adherence. I know a few years ago there was a additive available thru the Paint Stores, but today no one seems to know about any additives. PLEASE HELP. THANK YOU

A friend of mine visited a mutual friend who was in the hospital recovering from a heart attack (he was only 42..I am 32) and when I asked how he was he said he could use a laugh, you should go cheer him up...I am kind of known for my jokes with my buds...so I went to see him and was hangin just seeing how he was and I could tell he was down in the dumps so i started telling a few jokes I had recently heard and he seemed really happy and was laughing, then he really cracked up when I told this stupid guy in a bar with a penguin joke and then he went into cardiac arrest and they never could revive him. His Mom is really pissed at me and I feel horrible myself...i wish i would have never gone to see him so he would still be alive. I really want to go to the funeral but I know I am not welcome by his mom...I have tried calling her several times to tell her how sorry i am but well she thinks i killed her son so she hates my guts is a nice way to put it. Should i skip any thought of the funeral? Any ideas on how I can make it up to his mom??

Potty training tips for older dogs?

I picked up a 3 yr old Terrier from a rescue shelter about a month ago. Hadn't had and problems until today. My dog seemed to be potty trained and I found no evidence of misbehaving while he was left alone. He sometimes whines by the door when he needs to go out. So today I took him out as usual for a walk and he pooped and pee'd..... So then i had to go out for about an hour and when I returned I found that he pooped twice in the house. I test drove the Terrain w/ a V6 & I luved it! I would have liked to own one, but at the time my budget was not ready for a $30K car. Since it was so new at the time, there were no incentives to lower the price. I have not driven a V8 powered Canyon/Colorado. I think it would be very nice. The V8 is a bit rare & most dealers don't stock them. Your gonna have to order one I think. Might as well order them both & pick them up at the same time. Get matching colors for the his/her effect. Well all I can say is if you have the money for both of these, have fun while your still young I guess. Life is too short as I'm realizing this as well. The wedding venue still has our deposit and we never signed anything but it's certainly understood that we gave a deposit months ago for this date and booking. Help--overwhelmed planning disney world trip?

Hey I can't say anything about the Nick hotel but some thoughts i do have. I spent so many hours planning a trip and surprised my wife years ago-- did the park hoppers and dining yacht club resort, i way overspent but it was a honeymoon. Overwhelmed is a great term for Disney too. I have since found www.customdisney.com . They talked with us and had a good understanding of what we wanted to do, then they planned it all, made reservations, and itineraries that were easy to understand. The info on fast pes had us sailing by lines of people waiting for the rides. I was set on staying on property for lots of reasons but ended up off property and loved it. We would come back relaxed and could spread out a little, even had a private pool for our kids (5 12 14 yo girls). I think after labor day is the time rather than August. I am going again next year and will use customdisney again for sure. Nothing beats someone else doing all the legwork!

Flame rollout?

I have a forced hot water system that is experiencing flame rollout. I checked the draft up to the stack and it seems to be clear. This unit is running in unison with a hotwater heater. they are Y'd off the chimney. the heater is running fime. I know the gas was off for sometime, I was wondering if the turning on of the gas might have moved sediment into the main gas regulator valve and b causing this. I really don't know. Their way out of date. But I'm just guessing as to why you are looking. If you have a problem with it idling, hears the fix , or at least one. There is a plug at the top of the carb on the side that has a bronze filter in it that when gets gunked up will cause the decel diaphram to stay activated and flood the two outer cylinders with air and will idle on only two cylinders. It's hard to clean, but if you can, it will fix the problem. If not, just leave the plug cover loose to break the vacuum and release the diaphram so it will idle. The best solution is to replace the carb with an American substitute.

We love these things, and your right you can put just about anything in an empanada. Like you I use the ingreds. you listed, plus some nice veggies,sauteed, 1 Tbl. Paprika, 1tsp. in and around a 1/2 c. fresh chopped flat-leaf Parsley; serves four, (if using 3/4 lb. of ground beef and 1/4 lb. diced veggies). I always use a well beaten egg to brush on the flaky pie crust to make golden and yumo-fabulous looking. Be sure to vent them w/ two 1-inch vents.

Why won't the sound work on only one of my projects in FL Sudio 8, but works fine for all my other projects?

Im Afraid Of The Future? Lifes Moving By Too Fast? Help!?

Ok so im 16 and am in grade 11 (first semester). Basically my issue is im afraid of the future. I wish time moved slower! The past 10 years, lifes been great for me! Public school was terrific. But I think whats happening now is ive just woken up and smelled the roses and figured out that this is it. Im in grade 11 and in only 2 years (im planning on taking grade 13) Im going to be going somewhere completely different, separated from my family and school friends! And this scares me. I love my family with a pion, as everyone should, but my parents are very loving and easy going, I love my house and being able to see my friends everyday at school. And I can't imagine not living without them. I still don't know what I want to work as so that may be contributing. But I get sad when I think about memories from my years in public school, not knowing thatI had 10 more years and I should cherrish them. And I wish I could go back so badly! I dont think im ready for whats about to happen. Ive been with my clmates ever since grade 2 so all of us splitting off gets me sad. I'm tired of being in this mentality of doom and saddness and I wish I could be happy about everything, but theres nothing I can do. Time is time and eventually ill be moving out and starting my own life, but I dont really want to, Id love to stay with my family and friends forever. Well I've been ttcing for a very long time and am having a lot of trouble pinpointing ovulation... This month I thought that I ovulated on monday, march 2nd, because I saw a lot of pink tinged egg white cm... we bd'ed on sunday so that would have been good timing if i ovulated the next day. Now I am second guessing it because even though my cervix was soft and open it was very low. A few days later on thursday march 5, I was still having alot of cm, and my cervix was higher but harder...I'm so confused as to when I actually ovulated. My last af started on feb 13 and I usually have about 33 day cycles but I have no clue how long my lp is and I think it changes all the time. Basically I just wanna know that this cycle wasn't a complete waste even though we only bd'ed on March 1st and late on thursday, march 5th.

Concentrate on enjoying the process and you will get there. For inspiration take a walk and note the shape of the plants and leaves.� Stand under a big tree and look straight up the trunk and notice the shapes that the branches make. Look at the outline the clouds make. Pick up old children'ss coloring books for ideas. Blow up one of your favorite pictures and try dividing it into 16 squares. Draw each square one at a time or just draw the square you like best. Look at National Geographic magazines and find the animals and places that you like best. Draw one part. Maybe just the feet. Note the shapes of the house roofs when you drive by. Do you see the difference in the doors? Paint only 3 colors. Pick them and just fill the canvas with the colors. No shapes - just colors. Pick one simple shape and make big ones, small ones and then paint them with different brush strokes. Try circles with 1 fat brush line. Try painting the circle with tiny little squares that go round the circle until you get to the middle. Invite a 5 year old to paint. Give her the biggest sheet of paper 20/22'' and notice how she chooses to fill the space. Try painting with the wrong hand. Pick out a brush stroke that you like and then paint it with the right hand. If you� have an interest the rest will follow. The main thing is to enjoy yourself. Start with the basics. Just color. One shape. Have fun. P.S. I always start by saying a prayer. I invite God to paint with me. Why not? He has the best imagination and the coolest creative side ever. Have fun.

If that isn't steep enough, they want $110 every 3 months to inspect the area. This sounds insanely expensive. The local company, using the same technology, is offering $1,400 max plus $110 a year. I've heard complaints about Orkin with warranties, etc. Can anyone shed some advice? Thanks!

Remedy for prolonged fever(post operative byp surgery)?

My brother underwent a byp surgery during march this year. After a week he developed high fever and subsequently he was diagonized for Endocarditis and treated with vancomycin. After 15 days the symptoms were no more.(by TEE) still he was having fever. Then he was diagonized for Miliary tuberculosis and treated with Streptomycin, INH, Zancocin and combutol. The intensity of fever reduced(by Dolo 650) but the fever keeps coming for twice or thrice a day. Help me resolving this.

Income Tax Prepared WRONG!?

I had my taxes done yesterday for free (I am currently unemployed) at an account aid place-here is the problem...my Uncle always did them (for 19 yrs.) for me through H & R Block, always had a nice refund, always got me all the $$ possible. Last year I only worked 1/2 the year, plus a small 401K was closed out (by a former employer) so I have a 1099 as well, which they also took out $500 for federal taxes. My situation has not completely changed over the years (I have 3 kids, but this year my ex's have claimed them,) now the result is--I have to PAY! I am comparing my taxes done in previous years by my Uncle and I do not believe this place did my taxes correctly! I am going to run it thru turbo tax later today, but can I just make the changes on the doents I was giving yesterday and mail back into the IRS? Will I get in trouble for changing the numbers (even if I FIND they are correct) b/c this acc't aid society has their name ont he docs as the preparer?? I have NEVER had to pay in the past (even when I made really good $ as a legal t.) and last year I ONLY made (with the 401K) $25,105.00??? I need help or a direction as to what to do--if I do owe and don't contact the IRS today or get it postmarked I know I can be in trouble-but for example-he didn't even check the box for exemptions that said "children you have but don't live with you do to divorce" I should be able to put at least ONE of my kids in there. Also if you get a 3 EPR FIGHT IT. no way 1 incident should turn a 5 into a referal 3. at best it should be a referal 4. The EPR is based on your whole year. So if you were outstanding for 363 days of the year and 2 days you were less than stellar, on average you were still above average (which is 4) just because those 2 days happened to be when the EPR was being reviewed, it is wrong for them to mark you down that much for 1 incident if your overall track record is so good. This is the reason the EPR system is so dam broken. But back on track. Talk to your CC and apologize and explain why you should not be on a UIF. I would do it in a official letter and get letters of character reference from your co-workers/supervisors. But if your not up to date on the Tounge and Quill, or your writing is not that good, then doing it in person is the next best thing.

For all of you spiritual "Power of Now" people, how do you "live in the now" if you have so many problems?

How can a person live in the now if he/she has so many problems? How is it not irresponsible to not think about your problems constantly, and constantly try to find ways to solve them? It's stressful, it's difficult, it hurts, but how else can a person get over them? It sounds to me like a person who lives in the now, but also has a lot of problems, is a person that lives in denial, and allows themselves to be vulnerable to getting into deeper trouble. The way I see it, it's totally possible to live in the now, when your world isn't falling apart, and it also seems very pretentious and condescending to think about others who aren't in the now as toxic. I'd love to live in the now, but that's easier said than done for some if not most people. I'm not saying that people should have the right to bring others down, but sometimes people can't help the negative energy within them because of the negative situations they might be in, which is why they might not be super cheery on command. To just disregard someone as toxic, I think, is toxic.
