Did Amanda Knox get railroaded? Was she convicted because people hate Americans?

I'm not sure what African American's getting railroaded for 100 years has to do with a girl from Washington getting convicted in Italy? If you watched the 1 hour special on this it's easy to see how she had zero chance from day 1. The jurors head home every night to watch the news vilify her. If you don't think that can sway an opinion you have no idea how powerful media (written or print) can be. It is my opinion this girl was railroaded from day 1.
