How do i get my hacked psp to update?

I got my PSP 2000 (darth vader) hacked about 3 months ago to a firmware of "5.00 M33-6"? It's a custom firmware, when i go to "Network Update" It connects to the internet, but when it starts searching it says "A DNS error has occured" Now how do i get it to update? Please help.
