Blackberry host settings 8800?

i have no service and and a red x for signal been to t mobile shop he sed i get settings on their site but cant comunicate on the bberry got no service can any 1 help me out here also rang t mobile and got abused by customer care never have i seen such a bad attitude and rude ness for asking for help on this topic cheers donna
