you could try something about the creation of the universe, disappearence of mythalogical creatures. try to use some common english mythology creatures/gods and not greek or roman ones. an idea on the founding of fire. lightning storm, a pitying god, desperate, cold britons, seeing the 'fire in sky' just make it up.
