How did alliances affect the decision of the ottoman empire to join WWI?

Just anything about alliances, it doesnt have to be ones they made themselves. It could be how the french-russian affected their decision.. Also any addition information about why turkey/ottoman empire joins WWI would be appreciated also. (Nationalism??)
