Will a used Grand Cherokee work good?

Well I just sold my 1999 grand cherokee. and i loved it. I sold it with 205,000 miles. Never gave me any troubles and even when i sold it, it ran like a champ. I say go for it. forget the volkswagon, there expensive to fix. And my freind had a 01 golf and the engine blew at 145,000 miles
