Why does the Torah slander the Egyptians so much?
First, the original number of hebrews was small, a few hundred. So they did not TAKE slaves. The number increased from within to remarkable numbers. There are artifacts depicting even the parting of the Red Sea. History has been known to be sketchy and the Bible has been doubted before ONLY to be later proven by archeologists. The Egyptians were NOTORIOUS for not writing about their defeats. This is historical fact. So, why would they write much about their greatest defeat at the hands of mere slaves? Consistent is why.
