Jesus was born six hundred years before Muhammed, how then can Muslims call Him a good Muslim?

Muslims say of Christ 'He was a failed Prophet' but then say that He will return at the end of time to help the Muslims. in the meantime Christians are prevented from practising their religion and even killed for being Christian, surely if Muslims have respect for Christ why the hatred and persecution of us Christians?
